How can I listen to a song?
Under every song title there is an mp3 player. By clicking on the play button,
the song starts playing after a short loading time.
What is the time needed for the song to start playing?
After you have clicked play button, the loading time depends on the speed of
your internet connection. For a 1 Mbps ADSL line, just a few seconds are needed.
If you see something like the photo below,
Adobe flash player plugin has to be
installed to your system.

Link of the song is updated: You may need to clear your browser's
cache by pressing the refresh button or the key F5 of your keyboard. Sometimes, cache memory of your browser cannot be cleared by pressing
F5 or "Refresh". You can click on the menu "Tools" -> "Clear private data" ->
"Cache memory" (for Mozilla Firefox) or "Tools" -> "Internet options" -> "Clear"
from the "History" area, selecting "Temporary internet files"
(for Internet Explorer).
"Widget" is short of "Window gadget". This term describes an application that can
be distributed and executed through a web browser preserving it's original
interface. The most common way of reproducing a widget, is by copying its html
code and pasting into a blog's (or site's) html code editor.
You can find widgets for your site/blog
here.
1) With left click on a song's title.
2) With right click on a song's title and selecting "save target

If you get an error message like the example photo below, it means that your download has
not been successfully completed. Sometimes, even if it seems that the download
was finished, the file that you have downloaded is partial. For example,
"zero_project_fairytale_audio_cd.zip" file size is -as it is mentioned
to the
album's page- 444 MB (a little big, isn't it? :) ). The downloaded file
is about 15 MB. Trying to decompress it, an error message is appearing. In
such a case, please, try to
download the file again. For big files, you can also use download managers like
Flashget
or
Free Download Manager (both programs are free).
These programs are really good choice to manage your downloads, without wasting
your time. You can even pause a download and continue with it another
time.
Mp3s are encoded at 128 kbps or higher. 128 kbps is the minimum bitrate
for having good sound quality, keeping smallest file size. Most of the
standalone songs of this site, are
encoded at 160 kbps. Albums are
available at 192 and 256 kbps for mp3 format, also at 160 kbps for ogg vorbis
format. If you need another
bitrate or file format, you can request it by
email.
Audio CD image files are packages that include at least two types of
information: Content information and CD type information. In our case, contents
are "audio tracks" and CD type is "audio CD". Cue/bin format is a generic type
of image files that describes the above information, so can be used for burning
an audio CD image file to a physical CD-ROM disc.
Audio CD image has been made of original wav files, with the maximum sound
quality. Mp3 algorithm removes information from original files, in order to keep
small file size. Lost information after mp3 encoding can not be recovered again.
The differences between an original wav file and a right encoded mp3 file at 192
or 256 kbps are not perceptible at most home audio devices. However, audio CD
image
is recommended for a high-end sound system :)
You can use a free burning utility like
ImgBurn
in order to "burn" the audio CD image file to a physical CD-ROM disc. Additional
information about this issue is available
here.
Because of some design improvements ".png" graphics file format is used instead
of legacy ".gif". Older versions of browsers may not support photos with
transparency in ".png" format. If you see frames around the pictures
like the example below, I think it would be a good idea to update your
browser to a newer version, it is recommended for better viewing results on many
sites :)
